  1. I get a "Package mysql-server is not available, but is referred to by another package.

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or

is only available from another source

However the following packages replace it:

    mariadb-server-10.0".
    Any idea whats going wrong?

  2. I am following all your steps but I got an error on multiple attempts."Please create database manually, and set the configuration parameters for connection to this database". Press the "Next step" button when done. Cannot connect to the database

  3. Hi!

I got problem with importing initial database and schemas.

    When I have used command:
    sudo zcat /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-mysql*/create.sql.gz | mysql -u zabbix -p zabbix

    It show me:
Enter password: gzip: /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-mysql*/create.sql.gz: No such file or directory

    What I did wrong?

  4. Hello and thank you for your video! I have tried a few times to follow your steps and can get all the way to the zabbix front end but on the last step of the front end gui it says cannot create config file and prompts me to install it manually. Any idea what I could have done wrong and how to correct it? Thank you again for putting this together!

  5. i really thx full to you sir, I was trying for three days but nothing worked but in your video I understood everything. thank you so much sir

  6. Hi,
Im configuring a zabbix server in a Linux CentOs8 that is running on a Vmware.
This virtual machine is running on a server that has 3 physicals Adapters.
Each physical adapter has it own IP segment like bellow:

    Adpt1 10.188.127.250/24
    Adpt2 10.188.160.250/24
    Adpt3 10.188.130.250/20

The virtual machine has IP like bellow:

    ens160 10.188.127.251/24
    ens161 10.188.160.251/24
    ens254 10.188.130.251/20

    Problem:
Just Adpt1 and ens160 is working.
If I change the IP segment of ens160 to the others segment it works. But I need each adapter communicate separately.
In VMware settings all adapter were created and marked as bridge.

    Please help
I'm using the VMware Workstation 16
