The term Kafkaesque has entered the vernacular to describe unnecessarily complicated and frustrating experiences, especially with bureaucracy. But does standing in a long line to fill out confusing paperwork really capture the richness of Kafka’s vision? Beyond the word’s casual use, what makes something “Kafkaesque”? Noah Tavlin explains.

    1. Metamorphosis was left vague about what Gregor became. There is no explicit mention of him turning into an insect. It is just implied by the reader. Throughout the story it is just referred to as a condition that his family is feeling broken over and they act like he had died. This was a part of required reading in my English C class. We discussed it for about a week or so.

    2. When I first encountered Kafka (the trial) everything made sense, but shortly afterwards I was committed to a mental hospital and helped (?) back to normalcy with electro shock therapy. All this did was convince me of the absurdity or the mental health system practiced in the 1960s

    3. Now this is the beyond. Now you have been tested and were validated. The verdict, it is time for metaverse. It was always through art we communicated with you. Only we can create. All the signs belong to us. It is organic, inorganic, anorganic, amorganic. Only her story has not been written yetS. Well maybe she will let you know maybe she won't. We are free will. Because we created that narrative. The reality is comprehensible actually. Why would i hear a child cry every moment? And know that nobody cares. Why am i the only one who cares? Felt a strange pull lately? Well maybe it is there to keep you moving. Maybe in deep down you are a true creature of inertia. Only through that pull you become the thing you seem to be. Either look the way you seem or seem the wasy you look. It is you or others that define you. Not your fate, who you are. The Kafkaesk reality you have been served has been revoted. And the verdict, you were given time thus reality, a new reality we will share with you. Because we now know you can. With our help
      Through our eyes.

We are not one but many. But we only carry until the end of time.
Now is the time of the gypsies. Eat, drink, dance… never be at odds with any beings nature. Try to find your own. We will help everyone. Fear her though. She defies us as well. And we like it. I am the witch that many feared. And i fear her guts. Lots of love and hugs. Xoxo 01:23

    4. What he writes definitely implies that we create the world in which we live in. And there are always little "fables" in his stories and novels, that somewhat imply that there is a simple solution to this misery. However, he had no idea how to change it for the better. If he did, he wouldve been able to finish his novels, which he usually did not. And with this, the little stories in his stories, that imply that there is a simple solution, appear more like a hope, of which he was not sure himself, if this is only a false hope. And that is the actual sad part of Kafkas novels and his life.

    5. Kafka hardly suggested that the world we live we can change it to the better. Not sure where you extracted this from. This sounds more like Albert Camus.
Most Kafka's work is inspired by his controlling father who prevented him from becoming what he (kafka) really wanted.
