This session is for those who are familiar with the arcpy.mapping module used with ArcMap and want to explore this API in ArcGIS Pro. We will discuss what is needed to migrate scripts to ArcGIS Pro, demonstrate changes to updating data sources and the new symbology API. We will also introduce our future plans for accessing Pro’s Cartographic Information Model (CIM) via Python, which will expose many more cartographic properties than are currently available.
