Users of Kubernetes can spend a lot of time and resources in having to manage the infrastructure capacity required to run their pods. Leveraging the integration between EKS and Fargate allows you to focus on deploying your application instead of focusing on managing the infrastructure. In this tech talk we will walk through the core concepts of this EKS and Fargate integration. In addition, we will show and cover all of the undifferentiated heavy lifting that you will no longer need to do when using Fargate instead of traditional Kubernetes worker nodes.
Learning Objectives:
*Learn core principles of the EKS and Fargate integration
*Understand how the integration works
*Understand why using Fargate instead of traditional worker nodes is a net positive
