Ansible provides you with plugins or libraries that you can use to get your job done and ie what are called MODULES.
You can make use of the existing modules, and yes you can create your own custom modules as well using ansible.
So, Modules that are also referred to as “task plugins” or “library plugins” are discrete units of code that can be used from the command line or in a playbook task.
