Developing Ansible Roles and Playbooks by Patrick Harrison


    Development practices may be foreign to many infrastructure engineers (myself included). In this new world of Infrastructure as Code there are clear benefits to adopting some of these development practices to improve the quality of our Ansible code and also to ensure that our playbooks will run successfully in production when we execute from Ansible Tower. In this session we will look at some of the tools that are available to aid with Ansible development and testing like Molecule. We will also look at how we can automate and integrate our testing as part of a CI/CD toolchain.
