AWS CloudFormation is a service that enables us to deploy our infrastructure and application stacks on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using code. Often known as “Infrastructure as Code” this technique uses template files written in the JSON or YAML languages to define the infrastructure we wish to build. AWS CloudFormation takes the template files and automates the entire process of deploying AWS resources according to your template.
